Itinerary
Day 1 (Thursday October 26th, 2023): Arrival
- Host a welcome dinner for 500 VIP Guests featuring very brief welcoming Q&A + special & intimate acoustic piano set from KYGO
Day 2 (Friday October 27th, 2023): Fayoum – Desert Oasis
- The full group will transfer about 1.5 hours outside of the city to Fayoum, a desert oasis
- The groups will get onto 4X4s and will enjoy a full day exploring the area, including lunch and dinner, and TBC support act to play a sunset DJ set in the dunes.

- After Party at Ritz-Carleton Rooftop with Frank Walker
Day 3 (Saturday October 28th, 2023): Signature Performance at Great Pyramids
- *The pre-show tour of the Great Pyramid for KYGO
- Main performance at the Great Pyramids of Giza featuring Kygo, Tiesto, Kungs, & Frank Walker
Day 4 (Sunday October 29th, 2023): Departure
- On the last morning, guests will enjoy breakfast at their respective hotels. Throughout the rest of the day, they will transfer to the airport, depending on what time their flight is, or enjoy optional excursions to the souq/market, Egyptian Museum, or flying down south to see the famous temples from Aswan to Luxor along the Nile River.

IS THERE AN AGE MINIMUM?
Yes, the event is 18+
CREDENTIALS & SECURITY:
There will be strict credential checking and security throughout the property to ensure all guests have a safe and comfortable experience. Guests who purchase an Early Egyptian Package, will not be able to access the VIP Silver, VVIP Gold, and Pharaoh Platinum Package area. Guests who purchase a VIP Silver & VVIP Gold, will not be able to access the Pharaoh Platinum Package area.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY CREDENTIALS?
All guests must present a barcode in order to pick up their wristbands and credentials on-site the day of the festival. Additional information will be emailed to guests the week of the event.
WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED?
All types of food and beverages are strictly prohibited along with illegal drugs, weapons, pets, grills, fire pits, fireworks, banners, signs, bicycles, mopeds, large inflatables.
WHERE CAN I BUY FESTIVAL MERCHANDISE?
Exclusive merch for the event can be purchased on www.palmtreecrew.com. Items will also be available for sale on-site at the event.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE ONLY TICKETS FOR THE FESTIVAL?
This Cairo adventure is a multi-day tourism and cultural music event, created for you to
experience the majestic beauty of Egypt with some of the top DJs in the world. We only have
packages that include accommodations, meals, and everything that you will need to have a
unique and extraordinary weekend. The concert at the Pyramids is only part of our adventure,
but we are now offering one package which only includes the day at the Pyramids and one night
at the hotel. Most people will want to live the whole Egypt experience over the 4 days which
features music and surprises throughout.
WHAT'S THE BEST ETA?
We suggest to our travelers that they arrived before 4 pm on Thursday 26, October. Our main
event on the first day will be dinner.
THERE WILL BE TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL AT ANY TIME?
Depending on which package you purchase, transportation is included from the airport.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE EXTRA NIGHTS AT THE HOTEL?
Yes, it is possible to book extra nights if you need to and we have preferred group rates.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO ARRIVE SOME DAYS EARLIER?
Yes, it is up to our travelers when they want to arrive, but you would have to be at your assigned
hotel on the 26th.
IS THERE ANY EVENT TO MEET KYGO IN PERSON?
Yes, depending on the package, the experience includes a meet and greet reception with the
artist.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO STAY AT THE HOTEL AND NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE EXCURSIONS?
Yes but there is little discounted pricing as we have so few packages. Please inquire for
discounted pricing without excursions.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO ATTEND THE FESTIVAL ONLY FOR ONE NIGHT EVEN IF I PURCHASED THE WHOLE WEEKEND EXPERIENCE?
Yes - the General Admission package.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE A DEPOSIT TO BOOK A PACKAGE?
Yes, you can choose to make a deposit and then we will be guiding you on how to move forward.
HOW AND WHEN IS IT POSSIBLE TO KNOW THE KIND OF ROOM I WILL HAVE AT THE HOTEL?

WHAT ARE THE EGYPT GOVERNMENT'S REQUIREMENTS FOR ME TO TRAVEL? DO I NEED A VISA? DO I NEED VACCINES?
The Egyptian government asks for all travelers to have a VISA before entering Egypt which costs
about 25 USD. You can do the paperwork upon arrival or you can manage to get an e-visa before
your trip.
Vaccines are not required to travel.
THERE WILL BE PEOPLE FROM THE COORDINATION OF THE EVENT AVAILABLE DURING THE TRIP?

TICKETING
ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE AFTER PURCHASE AND WHAT IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER?
Tickets are non-refundable when purchased and the event is rain or shine.
TICKET INFORMATION
Wristband’s pick-up information will be sent to purchasers via email. Palm Tree Music Festival is a rain or shine event. If the event is rescheduled for a future date, your ticket will be valid for the new date and no refund option will be given.
FESTIVAL RULES & FESTIVITIES
- The festival is 18+.
- Everyone is subject to search at Festival entrance gates and on the grounds.
- Wristband is void if tampered with or damaged.
- NO wristband sharing.
- Festival is rain or shine.
- No refunds; all sales are final.
- No downgrades; but you may upgrade your purchases.
MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
If you or someone you know needs medical assistance at the festival, flag down nearby emergency or security staff or go to the First Aid location. The First Aid location is a safe space. Be honest with emergency personnel. They are there to help you, not to get you in trouble. Any information provided to emergency personnel is kept confidential.

COVID-19 WARNING
COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. There is an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place or place where people are present and there is no guarantee, express or implied, that those attending the festival will not be exposed to COVID-19.
We will be following all local COVID guidelines corresponding to up to date information the day of the festival. Currently, no COVID related restrictions are in place.

We are committed to hosting an inclusive, safe environment for all at the venue. Harassment based on race, ethnicity, color, national origin, citizenship, religion, gender, gender identity, gender presentation, sexual orientation, age, body size, pregnancy, ability, appearance or otherwise will NOT be tolerated.

PASSPORTS & VISAS
All travelers' passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after arriving home and have at least one blank page in order to enter Egypt. Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they have all the proper documentation on their person to enter Egypt and re-enter their home countries. Most travelers will need a visa to enter Egypt. We recommend getting your visa upon arrival. The cost of the visa is $25.

CULTURAL RESPECT & LAWS IN EGYPT
Local laws reflect the fact that Egypt is predominantly an Islamic country. Dress and behave modestly when in Egypt. Drinking alcohol anywhere other than a licensed restaurant / bar is not allowed and can lead to arrest.
Possession, use or trafficking in illegal drugs is a serious offense and can, even for small amounts, lead to lengthy prison sentences (25 years), life imprisonment or the death penalty. Be smart, be safe, be respectful. Do not bring knives or weapons into Egypt.
Egypt unfortunately operates with homophobic policies and laws. For example: Rainbow flags, attire, or accessories can lead to unwanted trouble. Please be thoughtful of this.
Publicizing negative opinions about Egypt / Egypt politics, including about the President or security forces, can cause trouble with the authorities. In some cases, derogatory comments on social media have led to custodial sentences. Professional photography or film equipment of any kind will require a permit. The import, production or use of drones is banned in Egypt without prior authorization. Use or import drones without the authorization will be punished by prison terms ranging from one to 7 years.
HEALTH DETAILS
STAYING HEALTHY DURING YOUR TRAVELS
There are a few ways you can keep yourself, and others, safe. These include:
- Wearing a mask in transit, on planes and in public spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained
- Wash and/or sanitize your hands frequently
- Minimize use of public transport while in transit
- Avoid tap water in Egypt.
HEALTH
We recommend reviewing the Health Information for Travelers to Egypt via the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It’s best to be prepared to prevent and treat common illnesses and injuries.
We recommend that you bring a small first aid kit as well as any personal medical requirements. Please ensure that you are adequately prepared.
THE BASICS
WEATHER
Egypt weather in October has highs of 28°C and lows of 18°C, with an average of 23°C. Because Egypt is a desert, most of the items on your packing list will be for warm, dry weather. Because the sun can be very strong, sunscreen and a hat are essential. Finally, keep in mind that this is a Muslim country, so you must always respect their conservative values.
SAFETY
You are subject to local laws. If you violate local laws, even unknowingly, you may be expelled, arrested, or imprisoned. Your U.S. passport will not help you avoid arrest or prosecution. Furthermore, some crimes are also prosecutable in the U.S., regardless of local law. If you are arrested or detained, ask police or prison officials to notify the U.S. Embassy immediately.
TRAVEL INSURANCE

WHAT TO PACK
CLOTHES
To respect Egypt's conservative values, it's important to avoid revealing clothing such as short tops, skirts, shorts, or tight clothes when away from tourist areas. Long-sleeved shirts or t-shirts made from natural fibers, with long pants or skirts / dresses are best. Loose clothing is recommended to keep you cool and avoid unwanted attention. Carrying a scarf or wrap is helpful when you need to cover up. Also, bring a jacket as evening temperatures can get cold—think desert climates. Be comfortable, be respectful.
EASY WALKING SHOES
For comfortable exploration, bring flat shoes, preferably closed-in due to the dusty streets.

Egypt can be buggy, especially in the cities. Packing / using insect repellent is still recommended!

Think desert (a la Playa wear) to protect yourself from the heat and the sun—it can be blinding on most days, especially in the desert.
MEDICINE
Make sure to pack your prescribed medicine when traveling to Egypt, as it may not be available there. It's also a good idea to bring some Imodium or a similar anti-diarrheic medication to avoid Tut's Trot. While non-prescribed medications are available in Egypt, it's still recommended to bring your regular medication to avoid any confusion.
MISC
You got this! Water bottle, passport, ID, check? Sunscreen, chapstick, tooth brush, check? The boats have concierge service, but please plan to be self reliant for our 10 days, no Amazon Prime deliveries this trip.
Consider leaving space or an extra bag for traveling home with gifts, shopping! Finally, remember we are in Egypt. Things may get dusty. Plans may shift. 5-star service may not match last summer's vacation... But we've all chosen this magical land for a reason. Bring open hearts, strong spirits, come well rested—we will take care of most the rest.

FESTIVAL SAFETY
Safety and security are at the core of an enjoyable experience at Palm Tree Music Festival.
We are working with local, state, and federal authorities to ensure the safest possible experience for our fans, staff, volunteers, and artists. Uniformed and plain-clothed security will be present throughout the Festival site and are available 24/7 to respond and assist with any safety or security needs.
To ensure everyone’s safety, some of the security measures you will notice upon your arrival include vehicle searches, bag checks, metal detectors for all staff and attendees, and dog sweeps.
If you see something, say something. If anything seems out of place or suspicious, please notify the nearest security, medical or general staff member.
COVID-19: We continue to monitor the evolving health mandates and regulations. For the most current COVID-19 information relating to the festival, please refer to the COVID-19 section below, which will be updated as the festival approaches. While safety is our top priority, the risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.
